'Tis the season to be scheduling... and do so well, you must also be in the know with the State of Ohio Graduation Requirements ! The state has revamped its diploma requirements so please use the included link for a comprehensive overview of requirements. Currently, there are three pillars needed to earn your high school diploma; Credits, Competency Benchmarks, Readiness Seals. Pillar #1: Credits Below is a table that overviews the general State of Ohio curriculum requirements. Hudson High School is proud to offer a diverse and extensive curriculum to its students. Unlike many high schools, our students have significant choice in how they achieve these components. Scheduling Seminars

Over the course of several weeks in January, our school counselors will be meeting with each grade level in a large group setting. The Class of 2025 went first on Wednesday, January 18. On Wednesday of this week, we're meeting with our current freshmen- The Class of 2026. Our juniors will be attending their seminar on Wednesday, February 1. These meetings are mandatory and the content covered is vital to making thoughtful course requests for the upcoming school year. Other topics covered include graduation requirements, accessing your school counselor and a quick spotlight on some social emotional supports available to students. Our sophomores were also able to participate in a Six District Compact Orientation event.  Students have access to their grade level scheduling seminar presentation through their Guidance Google Classroom (parents, your students can invite you to audit this page, too!).
